Trumpet lessons in Eisenach and online.
Oles Burak has been teaching for more than twelve years. Alongside his work as principal trumpet, he teaches brass at the Johann Sebastian Bach Music School in Eisenach, is a brass tutor with the Thuringia State Youth Orchestra and serves on the jury of the German youth music competition “Jugend musiziert”.
Good trumpet teaching starts with sound and embouchure. A healthy, stable embouchure is the basis for endurance, range and flexibility – and therefore for musical freedom. I want my students to understand what they are doing and to learn to listen to themselves. Everyone brings different strengths, so I work individually. And I pass on what I experience in the orchestra myself: technique is never an end in itself. It is what allows you to play freely on stage – and to bring the notes to life with joy.

Students’ achievements
His students have won first and second prizes at “Jugend musiziert” at regional and state level and have been prizewinners at the Stavenhagen Competition in Greiz. Some have played in the Thuringia State Youth Orchestra.
Lessons
Oles Burak teaches students of all ages – currently from 6 to 73 – from their very first notes to preparation for competitions, conservatory entrance auditions and orchestral auditions. Individual lessons are also available online, in German, English or Ukrainian.
